Our children will engage in hands-on activities like leaf hunts, pumpkin exploration, apple tasting, and creative fall crafts, all designed to foster curiosity and imagination.

Fall is an exciting time for children to connect with nature. The changing leaves form a perfect backdrop for outdoor adventures, making each outing a new discovery. During our leaf hunts, children will collect various types of leaves, learning to identify different shapes, colors, and textures. In addition to leaf hunts, our explorations will go deep into the world of pumpkins! Children will not only measure pumpkin circumferences and count seeds, but they will also learn how to estimate the weight of pumpkins. This hands-on experience promotes problem-solving skills and sparks a deeper curiosity about math and nature.

For instance, during our apple tasting sessions, children will savor the flavors of at least three different apple varieties. As they share their thoughts on taste and texture, such as whether a Granny Smith apple is tart or a Honeycrisp is sweet, they will naturally expand their vocabulary through conversation.

Crafts add another exciting dimension to our fall curriculum. Children will create leaf rubbings and gratitude trees, translating their thoughts about what they're grateful for into visual art. Each craft is linked to a lesson plan, ensuring that learning is both fun and meaningful.
